He traveled to Asia after studying at Rutgers University in New Jersey, to pursue studies in Chinese Language and Culture at the Beijing University of Language and Culture.
Jeffrey’s passion is raising the limits of human potential and his coaching approach is integrated to include leadership, communications, image and personal branding, creativity, etiquette and protocol, and wellness and vitality. Jeffrey’s interest in training and development began during his internship with the New Jersey Restaurant Association when he was chosen to work with the National Restaurant Association’s Educational Foundation to become a certified trainer. In 2002 he was trained in creativity by the organization of Dr. Edward De Bono, the global creativity guru, and launched the Six Thinking Hats program in China and Vietnam. He has been trained by Dr. De Bono in his creativity seminar and Simplicity program. Jeffrey attended the Protocol School of Washington and is a Certified Protocol and Etiquette consultant. His programs for clients include “Out Class the Competition” which focuses on using international etiquette to gain business advantages, and “Dine Like a Diplomat” which prepares clients to take full advantage of business entertainment and social occasions.
Jeffrey has been greatly influenced by the work of Stephen Covey on personal effectiveness and leadership and is a certified Franklin Covey trainer. His other influences include Jack Canfield on the power of positive thinking and achieving goals, and Jack Phillips on Return on Investment (ROI) for training and development.
He cooperates closely with the Vital-Life Center at Bumrungrad International Hospital. The Vital-Life Center, the only center in Asia that is certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, is on the cutting edge of vitality and wellness medicine. Jeffrey strongly believes that wellness and vitality are key to his work with clients and that concentrating on vitality is important in reaching their goals and achieving success.
Jeffrey has extensive background, education and experience in his field. At the London Image Institute, Jeffrey studied under Lynne Marks, one of the first Image Masters in the world and former President of the Association of Image Consultants International. Lynne spearheaded the research proving the business benefits of image consulting. Jeffrey works with clients to insure that their “Visual Impact” is consistent with an image that is in line with their profession and goals. In California he studied under Carla Mathes, who is recognized as the United States’ leading expert on the psychology and uses of color. He is certified to use Carla’s comprehensive color system with his clients.
Jeffrey has worked extensively in the area of psychometric assessment and personality testing. He is a certified assessor through Saville Holdsworth Limited and the British Psychological Society. Jeffrey’s approach to coaching is strongly evidence-based and supported by his comprehensive use of measurable assessment to define needs and document results.
Jeffrey was recently selected to join the inaugural cohort of the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program in New York, a joint program with the Columbia Business School. In addition, in 2006, Jeffrey completed his Coaching Training at UC Davis in Sacramento, California with The Coaches Training Institute. He is a member of the International Coach Federation, and was a member of the committee for conference programming in 2007. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Training and Development, where he was responsible for organizing the first Vietnamese delegation to their annual conference. Jeffrey is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, National Academy of Sports Medicine and Association of Image Consultants International.
Jeffrey’s projects have taken him around the globe to Asia, Central America, Europe and the Middle East, with clients in a wide range of industries including Telecommunications, Hotels and Resorts, Pharmacy, FMCG, High Technology, Financial Services, Petro-Chemical and Manufacturing.
Jeffrey speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese and Spanish, and conducts training in Mandarin on a regular basis.
Jeffrey’s Executive Coaching Practice, Human Factor International, is based in Hong Kong. He is an entrepreneur at heart and has invested in Vietnam, where he is owner and Chairman of the Advisory Committee of Eight Lions Corporation, a Vietnam-based retail and import company, which he founded in 2003. Eight Lions Corporation employs 120 people and operates a network of home, lifestyle and fashion shops across the country. The company holds the master license for many well known international brands. In 2008, Eight Lions Corporation is expanding their operations to Cambodia and Laos. Jeffrey believes that maintaining an active role in business brings him closer to the realities experienced by his clients at work. He sees that the major disconnect between HR theorists with limited operational responsibility and business on the front line is one of the primary reasons for diminished effectiveness in the field.
Jeffrey is committed to continuous lifelong learning and has traveled the globe seeking out the best thought leadership in coaching and studied thoroughly to share this information and provide the most cutting-edge services to his clients.
Jeffrey strongly supports the work of the Freedom Writers Foundation which provides educational opportunities for inner-city youth. He was instrumental in founding the “Phu Dong” Foundation for Highly Talented Youth in Vietnam. The Chairwoman of the Foundation is Mdme.
Nguyen Thi Binh, the former Vice President of Vietnam and signatory to the Paris Peace Accord, and she is quoted as saying, “Jeffrey’s support to Vietnam and ability to manage the Vietnam Day in Sweden project was extraordinary. He is a very special individual. “The foundation was inaugurated in Sweden by Her Royal Majesty, Queen Silvia of Sweden.
Jeffrey lives in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where during his free time he enjoys traveling to remote parts of the country and exploring local cuisine.

Justin Bridge, 40, a London-based Executive Coach that delivers leadership coaching, training and top-team facilitation to blue-chip organisations in the UK and all over the world. He began coaching in April 2003 after seven years as a management consultant and five years in industry.
Justin specialises in coaching senior executives to be more conscious and effective leaders, with a deeper understanding of the role of leader and a broader span of leadership influence. The portfolio of work encompasses both one-to-one and Board level group-coaching activities, one-off team-building or leadership training engagements and multi-party long-term leadership consultancy and coaching programmes. Examples include:
* The CEO of the leading global commercial real-estate consultancy had just been appointed. Justin helped him understand how his role as leader differed from that of senior broker and enabled him to define and confidently manifest his own leadership style through his first year in post. As a consequence of this intervention the business had its most successful years to date in 2006 and 2007.
* The Board of the UK’s largest Civil Engineering company had failed to come together as an effective leadership team. Migration through a period of major strategic and organisational change had left the organisation reeling. Justin worked with the team regularly over a period of months to identify and build on leadership strengths in order to pull the business together around specific performance objectives.
* A large retail bank wanted to ‘push down’ through management layers the same understanding about leadership they had developed (through one on one coaching work with Justin). Justin and his team delivered a series of group workshops and supplementary one-to-one sessions to over 20 senior and middle managers. The aim was to make them more flexible, inspirational, and emotionally intelligent leaders. This was achieved successfully and the ‘next 90’ are in line for a similar programme in 2008.
Justin is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is a Results Certified Coach. His client base includes a number of international blue-chip organisations such as Morgan Stanley (London, Hong Kong and Tokyo), Jones Lang LaSalle (London, Paris, Barcelona, Moscow, Milan and Munich), Nestle (Lausanne), Deloitte and Touche, Carillion Plc, Ulster Bank, Betfair, Aspect Capital, Delta Bank (Moscow), Gas Strategies and Barclays Capital. Justin has clocked up over 2500 hours of high-level executive coaching and is a trainer within the Results Coaching System network.
In 2006 Justin was engaged as guest lecturer in ‘Leading Organisational Change’ at CambridgeUniversity, LondonBusinessSchool and the Cranfield School of Management. He is a speaker on the subject of ‘Inspired Leadership’ within the European coaching fraternity.
Career history
Upon graduating with an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in 1997 (where he was awarded the McFarlane Prize for Leadership), Justin was recruited by global management consultancy, A.T. Kearney Inc. He joined the Enterprise Transformation practice and was involved in or led a number of change-management projects within Rolls Royce plc and the Department of Works and Pensions (including the Child Protection Agency).
Following his stint at Kearney, Justin joined Corven Partners in Mayfair, London, where he specialised in organisational transformation and leadership, setting up the Leadership Development practice that still runs today.
Prior to the MBA Justin spent five years in Hong Kong where he worked for the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC). Joining the company as a ‘C-Suite’ speechwriter, Justin quickly worked his way into a business-focused role. Upon leaving in 1996, he headed a department that was responsible for organisational change within the 3,500-strong business. He reported directly to the Chairman/ CEO and was Secretary to the Executive Management Council (comprising the Executive Directors). He also led KCRC’s successful bid to win the prestigious (US Quality Award-based) Hong Kong Management Association Quality Award in 1995.
Before this, Justin worked as a journalist first in Paris, then Kathmandu, Nepal, and finally London, having left his native New Zealand upon graduation from University (where gained a 2:1 degree in English Literature). An avid tri-athlete and huge rugby and cricket fan, Justin speaks fluent French and some Italian.
Justin is married to Winnie and together they have a son, Theodore and a daughter, Elsa.
